All Coming to an End

There has been no new Rabbi Kessin shiur uploaded so far this week.... I am still hopeful there will be one but until then, here is a short video summing up the ''Messianic Process - Coming to an End'' - where he talks about the time-line that bloggers call the ''cosmic clock''.   Personally, I need to hear Rabbi Kessin at least once a week, as he gives me hope, in a world where there is seemingly not much hope to be found.

I too wait impatiently for R. Kessin's classes every week. And you are right, his clarity helps keep me centered and hopeful in a chaotic world!

I would encourage you to read this book, "On Eagle's Wings" by Rabbi Hershel Brand, or this other book, "Spiritual Technology" by Rabbi Avraham Sutton, which talks about redemption, Moshiach and the world after Moshiach, techias hamesim. These are the things that Jews could be looking forward to after the entire world is transformed. We are very close to the end of a new beginning. Do not despair. Books like these give me much to be hopeful and excited about the new world order.

He speaks of 13 years as if that's soon! I find that very depressing.

Rav Kessin was in Los Angeles last week for Shavuot and spoke for 5 hours to the Persian community on Erev Shavuot into the early morning hours. Says there were 400 people! He will resume his motzei Shabbat shiurim next weekend. I know, it's hard to go without!

Rabbi Pincus Winston is another gifted author and lecturer (and chevrusa to Rabbi Avraham Sutton) whose books are a joy to read and wise in 'what we need to know now'! His website is ThirySix.org. Have fun reading. Disclaimer: I do not know the rabbi personally and have no connection to his books other than purchasing them for my own benefit.

@Rachel: The 13 years is only an estimate to the last moment Moshiach can arrive. Righteous Jews can bring him much earlier if we do our best teshuva.
